Michael Schluter­busch is the Vice Pres­i­dent of AEM. His career in the envi­ron­men­tal ser­vices spans over 35 years. His on hands expe­ri­ences with asbestos mold, meth, haz­ardous mate­ri­als are too numer­ous to men­tion. Some exam­ples include asbestos abate­ment labor­er, reme­di­a­tion, sam­pling, super­vi­sion, project man­age­ment, indus­tri­al hygien­ist, emer­gency response team mem­ber, com­pe­tent per­son, man­age­ment plan­ner, project design­er, scopes of work that are exe­cutable with own­er pro­tect­ing spec­i­fi­ca­tions, expert wit­ness and trainer. 

He con­sults with clients in gov­ern­ment and pri­vate indus­try, includ­ing Depart­ment of Ener­gy, insur­ance com­pa­nies, hos­pi­tal­i­ty, hos­pi­tals, build­ing own­ers, school dis­tricts, and reg­u­la­to­ry. He has found­ed three suc­cess­ful busi­ness­es, helped sev­er­al asbestos abate­ment star­tups with envi­ron­men­tal and safe­ty com­pli­ance process­es, and is an advi­sor to sev­er­al diverse busi­ness­es in strate­gic plan­ning, project man­age­ment, and development. 

Michael is one of the most respect­ed envi­ron­men­tal train­ers in the states of Col­orado and Wyoming. Michael also holds a LEED AP certification.

Kath­leen Flana­gan is Pres­i­dent of AEM and cer­ti­fied as WBE, SBE, DBE, and EBE. She is a sea­soned vet­er­an of the legal field, hav­ing assem­bled teams of para­le­gals to exam­ine and devel­op research into the com­plex worlds of oil and gas pro­duc­tion. She has over 14 years of expe­ri­ence in cre­at­ing reports and sam­ple data­bas­es spe­cif­ic to the envi­ron­men­tal ser­vices indus­try. This vast expe­ri­ence includes help­ing devel­op sam­pling pro­to­cols, exe­cut­ing the event, and gath­er­ing the field and oth­er research to devel­op exten­sive, cus­tomer-ori­ent­ed, use­ful reports in a time­ly manner. 

Kath­leen is a cer­ti­fied Build­ing Inspec­tor, Air Mon­i­tor­ing Spe­cial­ist, HESP Inspec­tor and Project Designer.

Bruce has exten­sive expe­ri­ence in the Col­orado area, aug­ment­ed by assign­ments through­out the Unit­ed States and over­seas, giv­ing Bruce a unique under­stand­ing of work­ing with diverse cul­tur­al val­ues and dis­parate objectives. 

Through­out a career encom­pass­ing a wide vari­ety of projects and indus­tries (com­mer­cial con­struc­tion, infra­struc­ture, oil & gas, schools, hos­pi­tals), cou­pled with an approach based on coach­ing rather than polic­ing, train­ing rather than hop­ing, Bruce fos­ters a prag­mat­ic approach; keep­ing every­one safe while con­trol­ling costs, ensur­ing qual­i­ty, and main­tain­ing schedules.
